It's a Shame

Quote From: tripleh

Men... don't want to be a father? It doesn't surprise me, I know that. Now about an argument about a foolish debate about should men avoid fatherhood. If they want to do that, then don't get involved with someone. There is no such thing as men avoiding fatherhood, well... I should say they could probably do that but when that child grows up, they will hunt the father down like he was a moose, that's if he don't make any kind of contact to their kid.
It seems that more and more people don't want to own up to the responsibility of taking care of their children.  What if one of your parents had treated you that way?  Or aborted you, you wouldn't be here now...

A child is much more a blessing than it is a burden.  I for one was happy to see this show and know that I am not alone.  My first child is 8 weeks old and her father doesn't want to be responsible for her and i quote him as saying "I'm sorry I ruined your life".  What strikes me odd is that most men that have these children, or get women pregnant, move on to the next woman to have 'recreational sex' and think/act as if this next woman can't get pregnant either.  Sex was intended for procreation...if its time for the miracle of life, its going to happen regardless of birth control...etc etc...

If a man doesn't want to be a father he does have choices as women have choices...he can keep it in his pants and be abstinent, use a CONDOM each and every time, or he can get a vasectomy.  The same goes for women.  Most women aren't 'tricking' men into getting pregnant so she can have his finances.  Give me a break.  It is so not worth it.

And what men/women that pay child support fail to realize that it is much easier to make payments than to have to take on the role of being mommy/daddy to the child 24/7 365!!!

For all single mothers/fathers out there that are taking care of your children I say God Bless and much success to you, keep your heads up and know that you are not alone and things will always work out fine.

I think most everyone has gotten off the path here. Why is everyone so pissed about the man not wanting to be a father. We, as women, should be pissed at the childish game that this "mother" has played. It is so like us women to trick people into getting what we want. We use sex to get what we want and none of us can deny it! She flat out told this guy that she COULD NOT have children. What should he have done? Contacted her Gyno to get a written statement proving so? No, he should have trusted her..he had no reason not to. Why did she get off the pill? I truely believe that women who trap men into becoming fathers, should be punished to the fullest extent of the law. They should have their babies taken from them. If a women is going to be that evil, why should she be allowed to raise the child? Who cares if the man wants to be around or not....just the mere fact that women do this, in the first place, is absolutely disgusting. I, as a mother, cannot wait until our scientists, whether in the US or France, come out with a birthcontrol for men....this will solve the entire issue of women trapping men!

I agree, if they don't want to be a father, then don't play.  Remember you can only jump from the fire into worse situations and that is always what people should think about.  However, think of this, DO UNTO OTHERS AS YOU WOULD HAVE THEM DO UNTO YOU!  Live your life this way and things just might change.  Try it for a month and lets see what happens.

Matt can always get a vasectomy and have it reversed later in life, so where's his responsibility now????????  Don't want to be a Daddy, Father, whatever, then take responsibility for that before the FACT not AFTER!

Thanks

The same could be said about women...don't want to raise a kid by yourself??? Then keep your panties on. It IS her thats going to decide if she has it, aborts it, or gives it up for adoption. The man doesn't have ANY rights to decide what happens. In short...The decision is HERS, the RESPONSIBLITY is hers.

I can't believe the guy that was on the show today. the one that would not assume the responsibility of being a father. Can you say looser ? He would not make a pimple on a real mans butt! " The right of an act is not the function of its"s consequence."  This is a universal law, one that will remain unchanged in time. What about STD's alone. Another thing is if he has such low self respect for himself as to sow his seed and not be a man and step up to the plate and own his own child, hope for the futuer, and place in the master plan of the universe.  You can give it all the phyico mumbo jumbo spin you want , but this guy is just two scoops of  way off the mark. To  hall out the guy from Amalgated Men's group blah, blah, blah . This guy was a nut job when talk shows were in their hay  day. I figured he would have a job by now. He couldn't get lucky in a womans prison with a fist full of pardons. In my eyes this punk that fathered this beautiful child is no better than the white slave owners that would go to the slave cabins and have his fun and not assume his responsibility for his own seed.  No respect for himself , family  and life.  A true reflection of ower times.  Must be a card carrying Republican.
