It is so sad for me that we have come so far in accepting addictions and offering treatment programs for those in need, but a compulsive gambler is not recognized in the mainstream. Please come out of the dark ages and realize that there are programs and treatments available and the biggest step is recognizing that a gambling problem CAN be due to an addiction.
