there is a difference between what you are brought up to believe and what the bible says the bible is God spoke.............  and He says that if one commits idolitry it gives room for divorce though God does not want it to have to happen ...............  when you think of idolotry don't think about wheterh or not he was with another women but think was he putting something before you that ruined your relationship.   idolotry is to place something high above another thing............. the things your ex did are certainly things taht i would not trust that he had changed.   if there was major proof fine................  i think that everyone needs to back off and let you make your own choices and live your own life and all................  God did not give us life to be treated or live in situations like your ex has put you in..................  forget everyone else and what they say and what you may have had drilled in your head think what does God really really say.. there are reasons for divorce i will have to remember where the verses are...............  you see sometimes one marries and the person they married isn't really who they thought but someone much worse and God does not intend on us living in that misery.............. think of God's characters and ask yourself does this fit what i am going through and if there is any character of God it does not shine truth to then well then you have youir answer...............
