have you ever dealt with is type of issue, well i have and iunderstand they do and say this and you start to belive them there is no way out. If you do not get a hold of my husbands grandmother she will call the police and say she is dying just to get someone to come over to see her. Do not be so quick to judge.l

 I think Claudia wishes she were half as protective and interested too.  Bernice is too far overboard.  She is stunting her daughter's life and her family's lives.  Bernice seems to need  attention  excessively as well.  If she truly thought her daughter needed too much attention, then as a good parent she would back off and not reinforce that.  Any way you slice it, Bernice is in the wrong.  Getting a grip on her life will mean prying her mother's death grip off it first.

You are both wrong.  The mother didn't "fake" her crying or emotions, etc.. And regarding the Xanax, she is NOT zonked out on it.  Before you assume (which by the way means making an ass out of you and me) you should get your facts straight.  Which you obviously don't have, so save your criticisms and conjecture and just stick to what was revealed on the show.
