I have dealt with both sides of the issue. I have a very clear understanding of how xanax will affect ones behavior. If she would of stated. "I am drinking alcohol like it is water", would the statement of been accepted the same way? Probably not, But xanax is actually the same thing as alcohol, it just takes longer to get out of the system. Alot of the same adverse affects come from it's use, blackouts, passing out, extreme emotional anxiety (usually used to project ones own feelings as being caused by someone else, like the grandmother). The grandmother has displayed a lot of manipulative behavior, but she did appear to own her actions. I am not judging to the point of blaming. I am only stating the concerns I felt were not addressed. Like I said, did you see the mothers prompt to the grandmother as the show closed? I believe the mother has more control of the grandmother then she is disclosing. Sorry you feel there was judgment, a person only uses manipulation as long as it works!!!!!!!  

I wasn't judging I was thinking the daughter needs to be RESPONSIBLE....for herself...whats wrong with that....as an adult there comes a time when you control your life...she is blaming her mother for her lack...of control over her own life.....why does BERNICE have a key???? is there no one else to give a key to ????? 

could she not have set her mother down and said what she did on the show?????... 

is she spoiled ???...even her Mother said she was...why is the Xanax  better that the alcohol???? 

and thats why the granny...just goes ahead and does what she wants....

MY Mother IN LAW...is like her...I give her alot of respect....something that missing with parents..some deserve it some don't....and when I feel she crosses the Line My spouse handles it...like she SHOULD!!!!...LIKE US GROWN UPS DO>>>>>lol
