Quote From: fyakenTaking your children without notifying the family court system that has jurisdiction of the minor children involved in this case IS A CRIME . Joining a religious colony or group is not a crime . However this is not about religion .This is about a mother that had her two precious daughters completely removed from her. Do you know how she feels ? I do not know this man that took off with his children and took them to a third world country. I believe in my heart that there was no grave harm intended for these beautiful precious girl's (Opps I'm assuming). However do you know the pain and anquish one feel's when there child has just drop's from the face of the earth . Plain and simple
NOT KNOWING is hard on the heart. Where was his heart ? What makes it right or okay or incriminal for him to not handle the situation legally appropiately if he wanted to leave and go to another country ? Most importantly the children the childrens psychological well being . Do you know how this will affect them psychologically ?
“There was no intention to justify what the dad did. I was contrasting the high profile nature of the case with the prospect that the girls where not in grave danger. Remember, taking your children and moving to another country is not a crime. Joining a religious colony or group is not a crime. Indoctrinating your children with a certain faith is not a crime. It doesn’t matter how bad you think all that is, it is not criminal. He is charged with a crime because he is a non-custodial father who ran off with his girls. And as far as all the lies, telling them their mother does not love them and that she is dead or going to hell, well, I guess you can assume all you want.”
If I’m going to quit responding to these post I’m going to have to quit reading them. This is one of the first messages I posted. I did make a mistake. The father did have custody when he left with the girls. I got that information from America’s Most Wanted website.
“On March 28, 2005 12-year-old Allene Hari and her 14-year-old sister, Mollie, were picked up by their non-custodial father Michael for a short visit. He was to return the girls to their mother, Michelle, a few days later on April 1.”

I guess that’s what I get for assuming I could trust them for facts, huh. LOL. And the kind of assumption you made is OK because it doesn’t harm anyone. All I was saying, was that none of them things in themselves is criminal but they have everything to do with the high profile nature of this case. Parents run off with their children everyday but most will never be featured on America’s Most Wanted, Court TV or Dr. Phil.
According to NISMART-2 research 203,900 children were abducted in 1999 by family members.
Of course I feel for the mother.
