You have got to stop getting hung up on the fact that she got pregnant...THAT PART IS OVER....THIS IS NOW! You are right. This is now. I just do not think rewarding her was the right thing, but ...oh well.
Yes, I believe adoption would have been better in her case, but whats done is done.
I also said I am glad she is doing better.
I only wish them well. I hope Alex really appreciates what she has and especially her parents for their help. I also hope she gets her education and does something wonderful with her life.
