Hi! My name is Chasity and I am new to the boards here.  I'm 29 and I estimate that I weigh just over 500 pounds.  I've always been heavy, but after getting lymphedema, my mobility has suffered and I gained more weight.  I feel like I could really benefit from getting to know others with similar weight loss hurdles. I need all the advice and support I can get. I have so much I want to do, and so much I feel that I can offer to the world, but I have to conquer this first.

Do you have Dr. Phil's book on weight loss?  If you don't try to get it and start reading it, and do what it says to do.  He also has a food guide that he wrote.  That book tells you what to eat.  Try to do some kind of exercise.  Start out slow, and do what you can do.  One of the girls on here does water exercises and she loves it.  She says that it is easy on the joints.  She hasn't been on for a while, but when she comes on, she will have some tips for you.

I looked at your profile and noticed that you are from Tennessee.  What part or what town are you from?  I live in Anchorage Alaska right now, but I was borned and raised in a little down in Tennessee.  In fact I have lived here for 30 years, but still call Tn home.  LOL

Good luck on your weight loss journey.  I am here to help you all I can.  There are places on the site that gives tips for Wt. loss.  I think you click on advice and then weight loss, but I am not sure

Talk to you later,

Dolores
