I know how hard it is to lose weight. I finally had lost a lot and then here recently gained about 10 back. I am not happy with myself at all. I found out that because of my depression and chronic pain, I was not active at all.
But, how I had lost a good part of it first was, I did power walking about 6 days a week. I also cut way back all refined starches. I had no white rice, pasta only once per week and in small amounts, no bread. Once in awhile I allowed myself a small amount of whole grain breads. I did my best not to eat after 7pm or so. Also, I drank a lot of water. To keep the water from getting just out right boring, I add lemon juice to it. That also helped me curb my appetite. I am trying to get rid of the 10 I recently gained. I want my clothes to fit again. LOL OH, well.
