After person hospitalized at State Hospital...the group released at same time do things together like go to the zoo and other places and restaurants invite them for a free beverage and chips and salsa etc. to go together as a group. Sounded like fun to me. If no place to go they share an apartment with an option to share a house together. Free training is provided to learn a skill if needed or wanted at the nearby vo-tec school with free transportation there. Texas is really tapped out for resources due to stress on medical system by illegal immigrants flooding over the border to have babies in USA and often stay, I heard, although I am not sure. Actually, my home state doesn't do as much either due to the Oklahoma City tragedy made a lot of programs have to be discontinued. The solution might be to move to a State that's resources are not tapped out although sometimes, I think, you have to wait a bit to achieve residency status in any State you move to. Hanging onto false hope is hard. I feel like cutting myself with a knife to ease what I am feeling. I have fought myself and have not touched the knife. I still want to live..not like this.
I have been hospitalized in San Antonio State Hospital. Nothing helped from that stay. Thank God I have Medicaid and can have private doctors. I have seen psychiatrists in Corpus, Houston, and San Antonio. I am fortunate that I truly maintain my independence and sell Avon without a doctor's interference. My primary doctor says that there are no good psychiatrists in Corpus. Dr. Schulz is one of the best doctors in town.
I need to go to make an appointment to see my neurologist. Thank you for caring.
