I got a phone call right when I was about to reply to your post. Mimosa tree's roots were too extensive and wrapped around a grape vine so I couldn't transplant. A disappointment so I'm keeping my eyes open for a smaller Mimosa tree I see pop up somewhere to transplant. Or...I may see if Home Depot or Lowe's sells them at some point.
