I am in the same boat.  I have tried dating sites, being friendly with everyone, making myself available, and nothing seems to work.  Don't waste your money on that online crap.  The only ones I got were too shallow to get past my picture-once I send it, they leave quickly.  Some of these guys weren't gems themselves, but there's more to life than looks and I chose to see the whole picture-didn't get me anywhere.  Just gave a guy another chance from work-called him today, and a woman answered.  I'm done-he is just a player.  Must want 3 or 4 at a time, and I am not stooping to that.  So, I am spending time with my cats-all that's left are assholes anyway.  We outnumber men, so some of us will be left behind-I am unfortunately one of the ones who will fall in that category.  If anyone knows anything that works, clue me in, cause I have lost all hope for the whole thing.....
