I've been wanting to say this

Quote From: yesyoucan

I never had pain in my neck until jerked up during an allergic reaction to aspirin and since 2002, can no longer sleep on my back because of resulting neck injury (or exacerbation of possible underlying neck injury from a car wreck). That's just a guess. Never diagnosed with a neck injury prior so just saying could be. However, just like if when someone assaults someone with a heart condition that person has a heart attack if exacerbating an injury in someone...person who exacerbates is responsible. The reason I was jerked up was because I happen to notice that not only was I prescribed a medication I was allergic to yet offered medication allergic to in ER too. ER Supervisor panicked not realizing Lynn was with me. Lynn told him off and the State cited ER yet the State said I should have called the police on ER Supervisor. You just don't think to call the police on an ER Supervisor. Plus, I didn't know symptoms I had after leaving ER a neck injury until a doctor said so later. I was concerned if I complained and ever had to go back there'd be a grudge since it is said medical profession cover for each other. I guess I had watched too many Dateline shows. Not to mention having an allergic reaction to aspirin in progress not diagnosed while I was in the ER. It wasn't until a Wal Mart pharmacist was writing down all my allergies when I got my first perscription there, after ER visit, that he said the common denominator in many of my allergies was the ingredient of aspirin. That's why i am always saying if something doesn't feel right...ask your pharmacist too. Pharmacists are supposed to be the most up-to-date on medications. Second link is main link to check medications and first link is for Tramadol. Hey, DJ, do you remember you positive thought list? You sound like you have a lot more focus and like God is answering your prayers. Thanks be to God and God Continue to Bless You Always, DJ...

I know there are a lot of abused children out there, and beleive me I hate the thought of it.  I wanted to bring up a point though.  I was abused by my daughter and there was no help for me.  Everyone wanted to help her, but not me.  I know that was the start of my depression.  No one should touch a child, but no child should abuse their mom. .....ggma

Yes, I remember.  And yes, I am much more focused, not worried, and am on the road to full recovery.  I hope and pray that God will be with you, and I will pray for you.  The neck trauma is so debilitating.  It has taken away five or six years of my life!

I am considering that I might pursue legal representation on the basis that I was never warned verbally or by any literature that this medication causes severe muscle tightness.  I had the same complaints and symptoms for many years of the severe muscle tightness, and every doctor had a list of my meds, they should have known!  AWARENESS!

We will see.  I don't want to draw any blood!   But people, including doctors, need to be aware of the seriousness of not knowing everything there is to know about their medications.  I did my homework, I thought.  I looked up all my meds on the Internet in addition to the materials provided by the pharmacy.  Nothing ever indicated that this med would cause muscle tightness until I just happened to ask the pharmacist.  Who would ever think that a pain med would cause muscle tightness???

TAKE CARE,
