It has been a busy day.
Quote From: tina83Thank you so much, you are really awesome really self less people I appreciate everything you say & think bout' me...but know that I always think about you & how your all doing even when I don't post. I made a blueberry plus a mixed berry cobbler. I have a roast in the oven and I am about to put in some red potatoes, carrots and onions. I am making dinner for Lynn to take over to his mother's. A roast that was too heavy for her to lift. I was going to take back over and just make there yet she had plumbing problems this a.m. So....smelling good here today. I am sending the mixed berry cobber over with Lynn. Both cobblers turned out perfectly. Cooking for others is a bit intense just hoping everything turns out okay. So far so good.
Last weekend I almost got an antique piano for $45 yet no way to get here. On last days of Estate sales often things are 75 percent off. This weekend my neighbor wanted to stop by a garage sale nearby where I live. Out of the blue when we walked up the man said..."I have a piano I want to show you." Amazing grace...in better condition than the other and the other in good condition. This one in mint condition and a Cable...not familiar with and about to look up online. He'd take $100 for it yet moving it is another problem. I am still thinking about it. Usually costs about $50 to have a piano moved so still a good deal. Having a lot of dental work done so...mostly I just go to garage sales to look for nostalgic reasons to save $$$. Piano owner has sold house and doesn't want to move. I told him that's what Dr. Phil says, to sell what you can live without to avoid moving nightmares. He straightened up like, "Yes, Dr. Phil and us men are smart movers." A nice family and I used to enjoy walking past their house on holidays.
Oh well, our neighborhood association just called and needs my help and are on their way over. My 84 year old neighbor retired and nominated me block captain. A pretty big organization and duty calls so I'm off... Hugs and prayers and ALWAYS great to see you, Tina... I hope you enjoy your walks as much as I enjoy mine. Give yourself a big hug from us all and catch all the blessings prayed your way, Tina. (((HUGs))) YYC aka SEA
