Replies to 'ANYONE ELSE SICK OF GAS PRICES? DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT!!!!'

It appears we have some science fiction fans here at mister Phils forums! Perhaps its time to bring some of you back to the wonderful world of REALITY, would you like that? Most likely you're all still happely content in your small community of like minded critters who all agree with eachother though, but I'm going to give it a futile attempt in the hope of at least cracking some of your thick skulls! 

I hear some people talking about how there is plenty of gas/oil in the world so they should make it cheaper. 

The internet isnt called the information highway for nothing people, use it for something other then complaining and downloading porn ;) 

Some examples of information you can find: 

-Oil companies are having a really hard time finding new oil fields to keep up with demand, not even talking about the near future when countries like China and India are becoming more and more industrial and thus soon demanding more oil then the rest of the friking world combined. 

-Most of their "profit" goes into the finding of new oil fields, they spend billions a year on this. 

-Your beloved America has stocked up enough Oil to keep the country running for a few years without import. Though not totally stupid (seeing your not the most beloved country around), this does tend to drive the prize up of course. 

-Russia, becoming more and more important in the oil game is cranking out oil pipes like a madman to fill the gaps that are falling where other oil companies cant keep up demand. Recent studies show that they most likely cant fulfill their contracts anymore by the year 2011. 

Just look around yourself, there are many, many examples around that give you some actual facts that indeed, there is NOT enough oil anymore. (guess who's one of the leading countries in oil usage per head of the population btw) 

Right next up; why is the prize actually so high? 

Think back just a little bit. It started with 9/11, oil prizes shot up to new records. Now track the oil prize trough the recent years and compare every new record with actions the US has taken. The US is the single most important factor why your own (and ours thank you very much) damned prizes are so frikin high. 

And what do you do in responce to this? You give the so called "president" in your white house another four years to mess up the world. Meaning you guys actually agree with all that stuff.. 

Looking at your responces I'm actually beginning to think Bush is most likely the smartest one around in the good 'ol US of A and there for he's the one leading the rest. (In the land of the blind, one-eye is king! as a saying goes here in the netherlands) And frankly that thought is scaring the hell out of me.. 

Please proof me wrong and start using the internet to find some information about things you wanne complain about and dont just blatently shout stuff and generally act dumb. Al gore didnt invent it for nothing ;)
