Quote From: carrie2246Hi, new here to the Dr. Phil thing. I have been smoke free for, I beleive, 10 months. It also took that same amount of time, 10 months, to get to that point. My message being to those who are trying to quit, it may take awhile. You may get discouraged, but keep trying. I will admit, even to this day, I think about it and wonder if there will ever come a day that I don't. Even so, I never act upon it. To get to this point is a big deal. Really, keep at it. Don't give in. It's ok, I think, to relapse here and there, but don't consider that failing. Get right back in the game again. You'll get it right sooner or later. Love to all!!!
Hi Carrie
You said a lot in your posting !!! Great job 10 months !!!! How true about not giving up, and keep trying, everyone is different in their dealing with their addiction in smoking. But the one common goal is the desire to quit. For myself it has been a little over a year, and yes I do think about it more than I like to, but never to the point of wanting to cross that line. Did that before, and it was doubly hard the next time. Great job on your posting, that will lift some spirits on wanting to try again in quitting.
