I pray that as you learn and grow that you will "SAFELY" escape this relationship.  Your boyfriend is known as a "Pitbull".  It may take about 3-4 years for him to portray his abuse towards you, however, he will release his anger slowly in a domineering and threatening fashion.  He will also appear to be "Charming" until he aggressively attacks you.  This man has a fear of being alone and he will not let go of his victims.  (Fear is the force that provides battering with its power, and the injuries to the victim help sustain that fear).  This man will be more dangerous to leave in the long run...take caution.  An Anger Management Class will not help this man, and he needs to continue his Battery Intervention Groups...However, he will bite again.  Please take the advice of your family and friends.  I can tell by watching Dr. Phil that this man is dangerous.
