Replies to 'Spanking: Useful or Cruel?'

I certainly agree with every word.  Our parents raised us virtually the same way.  My father never had to spank me.  My mother did.  There were fourteen children in our family.  To this day, all of us give thanks to our parents for the way we were raised.  They did not beat nor abuse us.  They trained us by the Bible and we are all grateful and do not regret it now; but as children, we did not like it. There were explainations for all spankings/paddlings with understandings and no repeat performances either. If I had to relive my life over with our parents, I would want it the same way we were raised.  No differences.  I thank God for my parents, even to this day.
