Quote From: dglommenHello all,
I watched Dr. Phil and 20/20 today; both shows had stories on conmen...
I am compelled to write to you because both shows portrayed men as conmen and I would like to bring to your attention the women who prey on innocent and good men. I am aware of one woman who has done exactly the same and uses her sexuality to lure men in, conveice their children and take their resources. She has done so across Minnesota, North Dakota, Montana and now Idaho... Please do equal justice and consider the women who do these things to innocent and well respected men!!
Yes, there ARE female con artists, but perhaps fewer. They are still JUST as bad.
But let's look at all the women who truly are CONS on a much smaller scale. In my 17 years of marriage, I have worked with quite a few women who were dating married men (and some single men) and who boasted about all the jewelry and other gifts these guys gave them. When I would ask them what they would do if the guy lost all his wealth, they all quickly said they would dump him. And they meant it!
SO.....there are different levels of con games being played and just TOO DARN MANY women who will get what they can out of men when they don't have genuine feelings for those men.
All conning is morally wrong. It's sad that so many find themselves in the position as victim. Hopefuly they can learn from whatever mistakes they may have made and move forward because there are many decent and eligible men (and women) out there just waiting for loving relationships.
