Addiction Support
Quote From: mischif12If you can afford rent you can afford sober living. There are many sober living homes that allow you to bring your kids along. Just make sure you find one that's for women and children. Also you didn't say weather you were going to Narcotics Anonymous. It's free (well they usually want a buck or so a meeting, but no one will kick you out if you can't pay) and probably the best help you can get.
I don't mean to sound harsh but you obviously have enough money to obtain your drugs. I am a recovering addict and alcoholic who thought I couldn't afford treatment either. I started going to AA and got a sponsor. She told me to figure out how much I was spending on booze and drugs. Well it came to over a grand a month. I started into an out patient program which was $250.00 a month for three months. I contintue to attend AA and work a 12-step program and by the grace of God will be sober 1 year on September 29, 2005.
PEACE AND GOD BLESS YOU
MISCHIF As of right now I have no rent, i am living with family. I have looked into all of sober living homes. Everyone is different, not everyone can quit by themselves. I have been using since I was 14 years old, daily. Its also a part of my probation to be in an inpatient program, I have to do this or its prison!!
