Maturity Levels in High Schools
Quote From: rianashleyI don't feel sorry for any of these women. They are pedophiles no matter how people try to pretty it up. The double standards being shown are outrageous! Would we say we feel sorry for a man who has had sex with a 15 year old female student??? I think not! To the idiots on this board trying to blame the students because they don't look their age or their bodies are developed, your statements sound like statements a pedophile would make. I was a fully developed female when I was in High School. I had 34D breasts, 26 inch waist, and 36 inch hips and a pretty face. I was often hit on by adult men. However, I certainly was not mentally mature enough or ready for sex with someone my age, let alone mentally mature for sex with an adult. I saw the adult males who were hitting on me as creepy old men even though they may have been in their 20's or 30's. Parents are sending their children to school to get an education. They are not sending their kids to school hoping that they be molested by their teachers.
I also can't help but wonder if the race of these females in addition to their looks is playing a part in this use of a double standard in judging them. I wonder if it is hard for Americans to see a female, especially a white pretty female, who many consider to be the standard of beauty, as a predator. The reason I say this is because I read several articles just recently on CNN and USA today reporting on how when white females are missing in our country, they receive major news coverage. However, when minority females are missing they receive very little if any coverage at all. This is why I am questioning if race may also be a subconscious factor in this double standard.
We need to stop looking at these women as women and see them for what they are. They are pedophiles, plain and simple just as the males who commit the same acts. They don't need our protection. The children are the ones who need our protection. I also was very physically mature in high school just like you. However, you say that you were nowhere close to ready for sex. That is fine for you, but not everyone is like you. There are different maturity levels for any age group. If it was your decision not to have sex in high school because you were not ready, that was a good decision for you. However, I do not think that you should assume that other people might not be ready for sex just because you were not. We are not talking about grade school age children. We are talking about young adults who should be capable of making their own decisions. Most parents are always on their children to act more like adults, but when they do people think someone should go to jail. It's stupid!!!
