NO Kids

Quote From: teaghan

I've never posted a message on one of these before, but after watching todays show, I felt as though I had to.  Carlina, the girl on the show who thinks she deserves everything she can't afford needs a reality check.  What is it about yourself that you think makes you more important than anyone else.  I'm a stay at home mom with two little girls.  I work my butt off every single day to try to make a good life for my girls, and quite frankly I think that I deserve such things as trips to the salon, new clothes, and shoes....however, I can't afford them.  My kids get new stuff long before I do.  I can't remember the last time I had a massage at the spa...it's just not in my budget.  Sure it sucks that I can't have everything that I "deserve" all the time but that's part of life.  Carlina--you need to get real and get over yourself.

That is right there.   She isn't married or have kids, so she doesn't get it, and she does think she deserve everything, she has no one else to worry about.  She isn't worring about herself anyways her best friend and mom is.

She doesn't get any of it, and never will, I hope who ever she marries knows all about her when he marries her.  B/c he better have a lot of money or something, b/c she will put them in  a poor house.

The Problem is DEEPER Than Shopping

I,m not a Doctor, just giving my opinion, so please don't get sooooo sensitive out there. Now that I  have gotten that out the way. When people usually live beyond their means they are usually unhappy people. It could be a number of things that are making them unhappy, or just one thing. There is another possibility, the person could be full of creed, however in each situation it is a dangerous one. If, the root of the problem can be reach a solution can be discover, but the person must be honest with themselves for this discovery to take place.

When some people shop they are sooooo happy because whatever at the time is bothering them temporarily has vanish. Their minds are off their problems, and they are on a shopping spree leaving them into great dept. At the end of the day, month, year or at the cashiers counter they realize either they have made a mistake in their purchase,or continue on the road of financial destruction. In Carlina case she has not waken up from a financial illusion that she can continue to spend money that she really doesn't have believing there is no consequences in her irresponsible spending habit. She is young ,native and inexperience when it comes to a person's credit history, unfortunately she's destroying her credit rating  and any hope for her financial future if this bad behavior continues. A person credit rating is soooo important and either she don't have a clue or don't care. Either way when she do become mentally order-wiser she will look back on this and wish she could turn back the hands of time. So many people wish that. Now lets get down to her mother. She love her child dearly that's why she keep bailing her out, however she is her daughter's enabler. She got to put her foot down, and just say no. We all know it's hard at times for any parent to say no to their child, but if she realize she is just adding to the problem there is hope that she will get enough strength to say no. In the case of creed it could be a numerous of things. One, a person may feel they was deprived as a child and must buy everything their parents wasn't able to afford when they was growing up.  Two, a person may not be used to having money and now that they have it they spend it irresponsible. Three the person just can't have enough material things just can't get enough. Lastly, material things may give them a false sense of society stature- keeping up with the Jone's, however all of the above leads down to a spinal road of delusional destruction.  The only one that can get her and people like her out of this  black hole is Dr Phil. He got his hands full with this girl SMILE......................... I wish you luck Dr. Phil. Call-me if you need back up, I got your back man SMILE....................................
