Mom basically has thrown up her hands and said if I don't approve, well then she's just going to do it anyway. Now, here's what I think. Her parents have probably had that attitude from day one, so of course she's at this point. Of course mom can't say no. I think that if I didn't approve & she's still living in my house, not paying any bills or having a job, I wouldn't let her go, drive her to the airport or anything. I know she is 18, but I teach 14 year olds that are more mature than she is! Mom & Dad should have put their feet down long ago.
