11/03 Shocking Accusations

Quote From: utwospy

Shocking accusations??

Only because we never hear about them, not bcause they never  happen, And we never hear about them because it is a huge coverup by all those involved . Catch 22. We dont hear about them because America isnt supposed to have these problems  . It wouldnt be such a great country if it got out.

People NOT directly involved in this type of crime (want to stay that way)  are more afraid of it then those directly  involved , Repuation. reputation is what it is all about. This only happens in those other (poor) countries . When it happens over here  it is a manufactured lie,   or a long lost repressed memory at best. The P.R. surrounding this crime  in favor of SILENCE is impecable. That nobody wants to know about it, and again that is why it is so shocking, when we do .Thanks to  dr.Phil, but one show wont do the trick.

Sexual molestations, sexual abuse, child predators/molesters---all of this has been going on for centuries and centuries. I don't have a clue what this nation's mindset was back then. Maybe some can enlighten me. In the mid 50's I was a victim of child molestation. Nobody, except the teenage boy who molested me knew about it. I didn't even know it was wrong or bad. I sometime wonder if this boy even knew that it was wrong.

You say America is not "suppose" to have these problems. If what got out? I don't understand your rationale. If you're referring that sexual molestation on children is a hidden secret in America, then, I think you're burying your head in the sand, really deep in the sand.

Exposure to crime against children is relatively new, probably starting around the 1980's(?). The Dr. Phil Show is really opening up the door for us, the viewers, to inform us, to put spotlight on child predators, to confront the perpetrators, to reveal them for what they are, and then to have them arrested and convicted. He's saying to this great nation of ours that we (citizens, courts, CPS, media) will not tolerate, one iota, anybody touching our children in any inappropriate way.

To the contrary, getting all this stuff out about sexual abuse, predators, child pornography, etc., makes us even a "greater" country. But, ah, my friend, the Dr. Phil Show might not do the trick, but it sure will make a major, major difference.  There are lots, and lots of people who watch the show and they do take note!
