Coming from a True Animal Lover

Quote From: chihuahualover

I agree with you 100%. She should be able to take care of those cats if she wasn't to. Atleast they are given a place to live. The more she takes in the less that has to be put down. But if the law has anything to do with it they will be put down if they take them from her. Poor lady. Trying to take care of what others don't want. I would help to if I had the money and time. I don't. She is very brave to take on this kind of responsiblity and less selfish. Instead of spending money on herself she spends it on cats. That is very sweet. She has my support. Someone needs to stand up for these animals and I am glad she is doing this.

This woman should be condemned, not commended.  What does she give these animals?  Certainly she has provided medical care, but how many of us think that alone constitutes a quality life?  If she was honestly and actively having these cats adopted on a regular basis, I might have some agreement with her.  She, when cornered, alluded to the occasional adoption.  These are not wild animals and need human companionship far beyond what one person gave give 200+ animals.  She is a vicious and self-centered woman who simply wants to play the part of the heroine with out living up to it.  She has no concern for her neighbors at all.  A fence for cats?  Please!  If she wanted to live in a remote area and keep a landfill, fine.  But even then not animals.  She just doesn't have the pedigree.  In spite of all the moronic PETA people out there, this is wrong.  There is not even an issue here.  And having animals who cannot be given a proper life "put down" is not only ethical, it is humane.  You say someone needs to stand up for these animals?  I agree.  Most should be euthanized.  Further, real caring people would stand up to the egotistical woman she is and put this to and end immediately.  She would be fine as she happily played the martyr for all the world to see.

Beyond that, if she is going in the face of rulings made by the proper authority, she is acting in civil disobedience.  There is nothing wrong with civil disobedience, but the person who is sincere accepts the consequences instead of crying about it.  This woman is a fraud in all respects and deserves no form of accolade.
