God bless you for writing the way it was and it is! You did a better job than many a "psychologist, psychotherapist with their counseling, hope, benefit of the doubt, poor Richard and poor Natassia, you can fix this together..." 

How many of these guys go to counseling and still play the game, they were "brave" enough to show up and fix it, what a good guy he must really be.  How many of these jerks go to counseling and continue to lie, be in denial and the minute they leave, continue the same behavior or worsen.  They become so skilled with their deceit they can fool the executive pool, the police, the social workers, the counselors and alot more.

Some of your most dangerous abusers have advanced educations, lawyers, doctors, engineers, politicians, they live dual lives, create hell at home and the minute they leave the house, they're such great men.  They're cruel egotists and alot more.

How many times abused children and women are put right back into the fire because "there's hope here...let's get them counseled..." rather than deal with the realities of what has been done and said to date a far better indicator of what's ahead.  These are the persons that end up in emergency wards, beaten, raped, tortured and too often dead on arrival.

How many dreamers have written in, too many looking through their rosy glasses.  I bet if they lived it for even a day, their advice would change quickly, then again they'd probably continue living with it "hoping to work it out" and rationalize all of it away, blaming themselves like Natassia did.

You go girl, your reality check is right on, just alot of weak people out there who don't want to admit it.
