Violence in School

Quote From: jb7ctx

Allright. I am sorry I am the one who got the subject of "violence in schools" off subject here, however, I am going to answer to your post.

" You would take you're kids out of school because they were given a book on homosexuality?!!"

You bet I would! My children are not going to school to learn about homosexuality, they are going to school to learn how to read and write and do math etc.. If I want my children to learn about homosexuality, I will be the one to teach them that and I will be the one to let them know that it is wrong. They are too young right now to understand it, but it will be addressed. I feel that if the school is wanting to let the children read "King and King" books, the school should let the children read the Bible as well.

"There is nothing wrong with being gay, nothing."

My opinioin ( since we all have our own) is that it is wrong. period.

Leviticus 20:13

'If a man lies with a male as he lies with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination. They shall surely be put to death. Their blood shall be upon them.

Reading this sentence above for someone like you, is just the same as a someone like me reading the book of "King and King".

I know gays can be good people. Never said they couldnt. I just dont believe in homosexuality. I feel it is wrong.

"They have enough trouble fitting in without you bible thumpers making it worse."

Each individual, brings upon themselves, their own troubles. I dont mistreat gay people. I acknowledge them and I even have some friends of mine who are gay. That is their choice to be gay, not mine. They know my beliefs and we are all still friends. What makes it worse for gays to be accepted is they push it on everyone wanting acceptance.

Glad I brought a smile to your face and laughter to your heart when you read my post and responded.

What does the bible have to do with any of it?

Aren't there scriptures about divorce too? Would you take your kid out of school if they were read a story where two people got divorced?
