GOOD EVENING MISSFROGGE...

Quote From: missfrogge

I am 35 and pregnant with out first child.  I have so many emotions!!!  I suffered from severe depression and other mental illnesses for all of my teen and adult life.  The love of my life came back into my life after ten long years of being apart.  When we decided to marry and have kids, I was told by my psychiatrist that I would have to get off all of my psch meds(except one) and I was on five.  Actually I have done well considering all that life has thrown my way.

Well I am in my 15th week.  I have high blood pressure and have since I was 18yo.  They have me on meds but it is still jumping up there, so in three weeks I am going to a maternal fetal medicine doctor and will have another ultra-sound done, which is okay with me because we will find out the sex!

My husband and I are thrilled, but everyone in my life is so worried due to B/P issues and my age.  Like I said, my emotions are just way out of wack.  Yet I am happy, I've waited for this all of my life, and with all the bad my family has experienced over the past couple of years, God has to send us something good!

Just want to write and say that I hope all is going well for you and your baby.

I know what it's like to be in a High Risk Pregnancy, as I was 32 when I had my daughter, but also I'm Diabetic and when I got to 35 weeks along my Blood Pressure when up alot and was put on med's for that.

For most of my pregnancy I was going to the High Risk Anti-natal Clinic every Tuesday. I would have to see a Diabetic Specialist and or sometimes the OBGYN as well. When I did get to 35 weeks and my Blood Pressure was up I was put into hospital and they ran blood tests to see if I had Preclamicpa. Luckily I didn't as I would have had to have my baby right away.

All I can say to you, is to try as best as you can to lower your stress levels and make sure you listen to your body. If you need to rest then do so. Just take things a day at a time and see how you go.

I wish you and your little one all the very best and please TAKE GOOD CARE, LOVE KELLY.
