these boys caused damaged to this teacher's reputation that will never be repaired.  What difference does it make if the consequences will follow them throughout their life.  They should have thought of that before they posted on my space posing as her.  I don't see how Dr. Phil or anyone else can feel that she is going to far.  If they committed murder, robbed some one or dealt drugs no one would question that fact of wether the consequences are too much.  A crime is a crime, the law is the law, a felony is a felony.  the only difference is on how much time is done depending on that crime.  there are consequences for our actions and maybe if their parents had taught them that, these boys wouldn't be in trouble.  they are not sorry for what they did, they are sorry that they got caught.  If these parents were truely sorry and the boys were they would apologize in person.  If it were my child one of the first things he would have to do is face this vice pricinpal and apologize to her and then he would face severe consquences at home.  One of the most important things we have in life is our reputation, some will even tell you that in the end all you have is your reputation.  They have taken that away from this vice pricipal and it might not ever be completely regained.
