I've been homeless (just last year) and I volunteer at a local drop in shelter. Homeless people are human just like everyone else. Some are just down on their luck (the whole one paycheck away thing) Others have addiction problems,PTSD, or are mentally ill.
No one deserves to be ridiculed, beaten or killed because they don't have a place to call home.
The perverts who make these videos should serve jail time and be made to work in soup-kitchens and live in a box in the excercise yard of the prison....so they can see what it's like

Good statement, I think. I too have been temporarily homeless, but, thanks to God/Goddess have never been friendless...I've slept in a YMCA, a relative's home, a friend's home, shared apartments, rented a room in a couple of lovely homes owned by people who trusted, admired, and even encouraged me; and thanks to it all, today I know the value of giving and receiving.
I think it would be great to go out to the streets of our big cities & give Christmas decorations to homeless people in the places so many of them choose to sleep... the cold cement streets of our modern world. And to bring nutritious food to them...although most of the food in homeless shelters and missions is probably more nutritious than an employed American eats in a year.
Thank you Dr.Phil & Robin, for this show. And thank you, Phil for kicking that idiot off your stage. You have EVERY right to do so...I wouldn't even have let him in the door....but then., you're so much further ahead than I am. :-)
