Replies to '12/12 Convince Me!'

I was so glad Dr. Phil told him their discusson was over...aside from the sleazy militaristic crap of the bum Fight show, how many people in our own lives have we talked to that we'd like to say something like that to!  Dr. Phil was SO calm, SO resolute with his comment to that guy who said he wasn't done talking to Dr. Phil.. I absolutely LOVED Dr. Phil's repetitvive, calm but strong "Yeah, you are" (done)  response...it gave me hope for myself and people & things in my own life. You GO Dr.Phil, you GO.  God bless, and thank you. :-) And I'm GLAD you had him removed from your wonderful, sacred on air stage.

What you're looking at here, is obviously not the root of the problem. If you think that by attacking this one dark facet of society, that you would be making a difference- i feel you'd be sadly mistaken. First of all, why are all these people homeless? Is there not enough money for them to be able to have what everyone else does? Why are they so desperate? Where did they come from? Did you go to your local homelss shelter, and see if there was someone's life you could change? Have you had a chat with your neighbour? You know -the one who neglects their children, who are out of control, and you know they're going to end up in the street, or another victim of the gang violence that seems to appeal to the youngsters these day. WAKE up. Unless you kill the root of the weed, it'll keep spreading, no matter how many leaves you rip off of it. If this Ty character has done one thing, he has brought this to your attention. now it's time to come up with a solution that REALLY works. Not just throwing money at the problem, but actually finding out where these lives went wrong. Listen to what they tell you. Geez. All you have to is Listen. How hard is that, for a first step?
