Those three girls were pitiful. They are so needy it is disturbing. How could any mother buy preents for some of her children and justify not buying presents for the others.
It seems contrived, sadistic and unnecessarily cruel.
You are right. It is so wrong to have so many children, especially so close in age and punish them because they have needs you cannot met.
These young girls will repeat the cycle and have children they cannot nurture, because they themselves were not nurtured.
