I do agree also though, on the idea that people should try to help themselves.  There really is no reason for complete, absolute poverty in this country.   And I do tend to ask myself:  why do poor poeple always want to have children, and more children???  Most better-well-off people think twice before they do.  Interesting. 

I still agree with my previous statement though that Dr. Phil most likely helped deserving people, as opposed to non.
