I think your husband needs to show a little sympathy

Quote From: makenah

Hello everyone.. I kind of felt like I lost a part of my Family.

Glad we can all get back together

Question for the Day!!  My Husband thinks that I should get over my depression since my mom died in May 06, and my dad 05.

I cannot get over it, and he makes me feel like I am dog everyday!

Is there a time limit on depression??

Hugs and prayers Mary Ann

That's not fair of him to tell you to get over your depression.  Goodness, you just lost both of your parents recently.  You need time to grieve your loss.

As far as I'm concerned, there is no time limit for grief or depression.  Everything is individual, so you just take all the time you need.  Of course, your parents might not want you to stop your daily life just because they've passed, so you should try to carry on with everyday tasks.

I wish you all the best for your future and I hope that the pain fades soon.  Take care of yourself.  Bye from Australia.

If your husband makes you feel like a dog everyday GET RID OF HIM

THE END
Find your own happiness or someone who makes you feel like the QUEEN YOU ARE!

NO TIME LIMIT ON GRIEF~

You may never be over losing your parents..

When my grandma died I literally cried everyday for 2 years!

My dad died in 1992, mother 2003, and I'll NEVER get over it. Call around to churches to see if there is ongoing grief counseling or call a Social Worker or Chaplain at local Hospital to inquire about grief counseling. Often FREE or just 50 cents a meeting when in a group setting. It is nice to go a place where nobody puts you on mute for talking about your loved ones. Tell us about your dad and mom whenever you want to. Have you ever written a memorial poem for either of your parents or planted a tree or rose bush? There are lasting memorial tributes you can do for loved ones. Some buy a brick at a non-profit charity being built such as many did at Operation Kindness in memory of people and even beloved pets. Brick is engraved with loved ones name. Your parents will always be with you, genetically speaking, from each strand of hair to your tippy toes and ALWAYS alive in your heart and mind and memories. Hugs and prayers, SEA
