I was an ardent Christian for the majority of my life.  After four years of research and hard looking at the facts, I deconverted to Atheist.  There is no proof of God.  Now, I understand people have their beliefs because I used to have them, too.  And I don't really say anything until it comes to others being intolerant BECAUSE OF their beliefs.  All of you on here who are Christians or think the Bible is valid and the word of God to follow- you need to do some research.  Start with the question of if you can prove there is a soul.  If you somehow get past that, then try and prove there is something else out there.  And then if you somehow proved that, prove that the Christian God and Bible are the RIGHT ones out of ALL of the religions that have existed and do exist!  YOU CANNOT!  And I don't see how situations such as gender identity crises, don't make you all wake up and see the light!  Obviously sex is BIOLOGICAL if people can be male and female- born that way.  It's completely part of biological life.  And it sucks in a world where we have gender roles, but it's just the way it is.  These people should be accepted and loved as the people they are.  They should be allowed to choose.  No one can decide what is right for another people just because a book written by a myriad of different people with different beliefs says so.  Everyone must decide what is right for themselves.  Stop the discrimination.  You have no proof that your God is right or the only one or even exists!  So keep it to yourself and let people be what they will.  And do some research before you assume people are just making these choices.  After all, there really aren't any choices.  What you choose is the only thing you could have possibly done or you wouldn't have done it.  Therefore, it's not a choice, it is just what is.  Determinism.  And I am sorry to all of you who are born with gender identity issues.  I accept you for who you are and wish you all the best.
