You assume too much

Quote From: msvivace

It sounds to me like chubby chasers are just a different type of player. They are objectifying fat women and being attracted to them for purely physical reasons. Personality, character, brains, etc. are left out of the equation. Instead of the more common type of 'arm candy' they've chosen something more voluptuous. It's still icky. Don't women want to be truly loved for who they are?

It sounds to me like you've decided to lump all us 'Chubby Chasers' into a group of small minded, superficial persons and forgetting that we too are still human. Sure, some men are only interested in the flesh, and those are what we call shallow people. But to assume that men like me have no sense of humanity just because we're attracted to a certain type of person?

The girl I'm seeing knows that her plus-size is part of what makes her attractive to me. She also knows that her taste for heavy metal music, her silly personality, and the friendship we've shared over the years have made her special in my eyes. You'll never catch me dating a plus-sized hoochie mama.

By your logic I should say all heterosexual men care about is the presence of a vagina, since no amount of personality, character, brains, etc, is ever going to make them want to date a man.

I was 'Maxx' on the show, by the way.

EVERYONE wants to be loved for who they truly are. But first we must have the courage to be that person, I think. Live courageously, one and all! (My quota pep talk for the day.)

I've had guys who played me for a lick of "the luciousness" (I'm a size 26, 350 lb woman)...it can be exactly the same. But it only lasts as long as you allow it. I've discovered "players" are pretty spineless. If you know what you want, and you want none of their foolishness, they are GONE. Whoosh. As Simon would indeed say - good riddance to bad rubbish. :D

there's nothing wrong with being a chubby chaser - who's to say they don't take personalit and character into consideration?
