There are many instances in which people do need to place judgements. A child being abused is not the least of them. Shall everyone close their eyes and plug their ears under the guise of not being judgemental? What would that acomplish? A whole lot of nothing!
"Are you all of such little faith that you think he did this for ratings?" Oooops! There are those judgements of yours creeping back in! Better be careful. You dont want to come off as a hypocrite. Read some of my other posts. I may be a hypocrite, but I have a good reason. I am involved with this situation and can tell you that alot of these people here are ranting and raving about things they saw in a 1 hour show. Things they had no part of. Again, im not excusing the situation here, but if these people have problems of their own then they need to get those fixed before they start attacking or trying to diagnose someone else? And yes, at times people do need to be judgemental, but this is not a case for that. We went for some help and that , again, is what we are getting as a family. Who are they to judge?
