03/05 Anna and Britney: Behind the Headlines

Quote From: navywings

Why is it even on Dr. Phil, the obvious questions everyone is thinking aren't asked? It is OBVIOUS, even to the untrained, that she is under the influence in her interview with Pat O'Brien. Why didn't Pat ask her that? Why  didn't Dr. Phil address it?

Concerning Dr. Phil's comment that parent is a verb, I agree. However, does anyone think that Stern is parenting right now? It's Dannilynn's nannies that are her parent's right now. Birkhead isn't even being given the chance to be a parent. Pat stated he doubted the DNA test would ever be done. PERFECT chance for Dr. Phil to jump on that and he didn't. Why does Pat think the DNA test will never be performed? Could it be because Stern knows the outcome? Of course.

So, if everyone is citing what's best for the child as their motivation, why is determining the biological parent seem to be on the back burner. Stern is banking on the longer the DNA takes the longer he has to build a relationship with Dannilynn and nullify any DNA results to the contrary. Interesting Pat said he asked Stern point blank if he was Dannilynn's father and Stern stated he was. Pat asked the wrong question. Of course Stern believes he's Dannilynn's father. The question that Pat should have asked was if Stern believed he was Dannilynn's BIOLOGICAL father. Big difference.

I was disappointed Dr. Phil didn't pursue this more in depth than other news agencies by asking the point blank tough questions.
Disappoointed is putting it mildly.
