04/04 Did He or Didn't He?

Quote From: mws92180

I completely agree with you! Question first, convict later.  You're right, no one cares about the defense of an accused.  Children are manipulated all the time between two divorced parents and I believe this is probably where more accusations come from than anywhere. The other would probably be tv and peer influences.  Thank you for your comments and concerns for the wrongly accused and their family and friends.

Wow.  You take a very dangerous stance by blaming tv and peer pressure as well as saying you believe most of these accusations come from disgruntled divorcees!

There is no doubt that there are idiotic fools who play this card for their own sake, trying to get their way in a divorce settlement.  But!  Those people are the MINORITY!   Most people are good people, trying to live good lives, while raising and protecting their children, and would never even CONSIDER making false accusations!

Its comments like these that really upset me.  Dont you understand the dynamics of sexual abuse?  Are you so unaware of how things usually go in these situations?  Cant you read the posts and see how the majority were not believed and everything was ever so convienently swept under the rug?

False accusations are HORRIBLE and do happen.  That is not even in question.  NO ONE would argue that point.  But to take it to the next level and make it out like that is the NORM, to play it off as the problem with victims who claim abuse is  tv and peer pressure, is incredibly dangerous as well as naive.
