Actually, I think your poor American pride has been hurt.  All I hear from the messages here is a proclamation of  "how dare they do that to us, we are Americans."  Just because another part of the world doesn't do things exactly as Americans do doesn't mean that they are doing it wrong.  Have you studied the Arubian justice system, or is your response purely emotional? 

Don't need to study it, I have Dutch family.  Two of my cousins moved here from Holland four years ago. There is a discussion almost every night about the differences between the two countries.  I never said I think America does EVERYTHING right.  I can acknowledge mistakes made by our govt.  What I mean to say is I think you don't see the upside to Americans coming together  and showing compassion for a family who has lost a loved one.  Imagine if your child came to the states to visit and went missing, and no one here would help you and to make it worse what if Americans started trashing the character of your loved one who is missing?   would you be proud if the people of Holland stood behind you?
