No Compassion???????
Quote From: sabrinaspell12I agree with you all this crying and no action. Like dr. phil is going to wave a magic wand for these people. sick of hearing about how family members complain yet they continue to make meals or order fast food for these unmotivated people. You must not be overweight or have little compassion.. I am 325 lbs now and was close to 400 in Jan of 2007. You speak of surgery have u investigated this surgery I was scheduled for Jan 8th 2007 and on Jan 3rd surgeon said he couldn't do it due to previous abdominal surgeries i had sent me to his partner who said he will do it but wanted me to know that my risks were many times more than untouched stomach... I had the stomach stapled more than 20 yrs ago when i was only 17 years old and weighed 311 pounds. Obviously it wasn't successful as to my now condition... Have you read about PCOS..? It is a problem with insulin resistance and other conditions that actually fight any attempts to diet my heart goes out to all people of great size as I live the painful life everyday. I live on pain meds, anti-depressants, and due to the greater risk of surgery in my case have been on diet and exercise to try again to do it myself. I'm miserable but doing it. We all need to think a bit more compassionately thank God Dr Phil is willing to help these and others that many feel should be able to do it themselves. I know I would love to have help.
