my husband's brother and his girlfriend have been together 6 or 7 yrs. she has 3 kids he has 2 kids. none of the are shared. my husbands father moved from his farm leaving it to them to care for. they do not pay rent and my father in-law is paying for all the upkeep,taxes and insurance.  we were told before they moved in that they would pay rent, that was 3 yrs. ago and we have been told by his step-mother that they haven't paid a cent for rent.  His brother told him that he was until he could not aford it.  I feel they are taking advantage of not only my father in-law but my husband as well.  even though my husband agrees with my take on the situation he feels he can not say anything because he doesn't want add to his father's stress and doesn't want to make waves. i say he needs to take a stand.  we have had several arguments since they came to our doorstep 3 yrs. ago and she told my husband that i need to "shut up, butt out, and mind my own business!"  we have been married 14 yrs. and have 4 kids together and they have always put in their two cents when my grandfather died in 1989 and left a house to my two sisters and myself.she loves to be in control and get her way and she has come between my husband and myself and his kids. I am so tired of his family making decisions, giving us orders, and then telling him that he and his brother should make the decisions but they never include him in the discussion, not really, they lie and tell him only what they want him to know and leave the rest out. she is a manipulative bitch who needs to be put in her place.
