The only reason that Dr. Phil asked her not to make a decision until after his treatment is so that he would go. If she sat up there and told him that no matter what he did she was still going to file for divorce he would have never gone to Creative Care and therefore being an even more of a risk to her and her kid's safety. Dr. Phil is a brillant man who would never do anything to put one of his guests in danger.
