Replies to '08/24 The Dr. Phil House: “Make My Kid a Star,” Part 3'

I don't really get where your reply is coming from. The original posting just said "do whatever makes you happy, and stop pushing your kids so hard", whether or not you agree with that, slamming the person who wrote it with sarcasm and attitude, doesn't really address the issue at hand. These kids seem to be in pretty good shape right now and hopefully the parents all learned something valuable by coming to Dr. Phil. The only one that I sense is going to be in real trouble is Maria. If I were a casting director, I wouldn't hire the poor girl just because I wouldn't be able to deal with her mother.  Her mother's comment that "they didn't come all this way for an X box" and then refusing to provide an update just showed her immaturity. Unfortunately, Maria will probably end up doing pornos. I hope not, for her sake, as she appears to be a good kid with some talent.
