Quote From: faith__Sounds like you are experiencing a mixed episode; where you experience both ends of the spectrum at the same time. It can be very exhausting! I tend to struggle more with the depressive end of the disorder (so my house is a mess lol).
I so hope your pdoc will listen to you on Wednesday and you get the med adjustment you need. What meds are you currently on? What meds do you want to try? It took me SEVERAL med adjustments over a few years before I found the right combo. I hope you find relief very soon!
Keep posting and take care. :)
I have been on so many different meds and combos I have lost count. I am currently on Trileptal, Klonopin, and hydrodroxiaine. He has me at such low doses and I know my body and I know I need more or something different. I have been bipolar since I was 15 and am now 27 my husband is 42 and has had his own problems growing up so when I am not a happy little jumping bean he thinks it is something against him. I have been diagnosed as Bipolar, schizoaffective, PTSD, With multiple personality. I don't know what is what when I am feeling it. I just moved to Nebraska from Rhode Island and I have not ever had a mixed episode. It was always usually one or the other. I'm at a loss for words and quite can't explain exactly how I feel. It does feel good to know that there are people out there who can understand what I am going through and have gone through themselves. Thank you, I am very appreciative.
