are you a teacher? can't remember. I'm the say way about summers because I'm a teacher and have my summers off. I don't understand why my husband can't take off three months as well. Ha ha. Busy with kids, yes, me too. My 13-year-old step-daughter moved in with us so things have really changed around here. Suddenly, I am Super Mom, or trying to be anyway. The difference between one kid and two is like the difference between one and two cats: HUGE!
I have not worked now in 6 years. I am retired. I am 43 with 5 kids at home. Today there were a few extra kids here, that can be so nice. Most of the kids spent 5-6 hours swimming etc...it was great. I grilled and made snacks and sat under the umbrellas to lifeguard. Normally, I will swim also, but today I was just not in the mood. Our patio around the pool is being done -what a mess! But it will be fantastic when it is done, truly great about 1000 sqft of patio. NO more lawn mowing around the pool.
Mhy first two children btw were so easy, they were really easy babies. My having kids isn't hard at all really. There were times when I felt like I would pull my own hair out however; I have just not felt like that at all since the affair. Priorities change drastically after that type of trauma, it also is great that we go out more often so that I feel like I have had adult time which helps with my attitude so much.
