MAYBE IF YOU HAD A PET TO LOVE YOU UNCONDITIONALLY, MAYBE YOU WOULDN'T BE SO SHALLOW 

#1 Having 2 Yorkies is better than having 1.  Going back to the needy thing:  You can leave them alone longer cuz they will play with each other and not be lonely.   #2 It is not about Control.  Having a dog is about adding a member to your family who you love who loves you.  The dog will lick your children's tears when they cry.  The dog will be your child's friend when they are having a bad day and feel as though  they have none.  I think a dog does alot for a child's self esteem.   #3 Go to puppy kindergarden..... Potty training takes time.  You can pay your carpet cleaner $35 or so dollars to clean your carpet when you get past the puppy stage.   #4 Yes you will be spending big buck in Vet bills, but it's worth it.   #5 There is no purer more precious unconditional love then da luv of a sweet loyal cute dog!   #6 For all the smell complainers:  GIVE HIM A BATH or TAKE HIM TO THE GROOMER and get a cute bow with perfume!
