Replies to 'Breaking Up'

My husband is an alcoholic, that in itself is bad enough. He loses job after job because of this. He either drinks and wont stop so he can go to work or he drinks and doesnt stop then he isnt able to go to work thus he loses another job. It drives me crazy. He has a mother who enables him constantly and will not sttop no matter what I say. She bails him out and so he never hits bottom and therefore he has no reason to change or quit. A few days ago he lost his job and was drinking, playing music loud and had drinking buddies here, so I lelf and went to a friends. I miss being at home so I keep coming by and I dont know what to really do. We have been married for four years and it is his first marriage at 42, I am older than him but that does not cause a problem. I am at my wit ends and dont know what to do to help. My gut instinct is to stay away but my heart keeps pulling me back, helpppppp.
