My business was sued by a con-man who claimed to fall in our parking lot which resulted in a broken ankle. This man didn't report the incident to anyone and didn't file a law suit for almost two years. The attorney who took the case badgered my husband for months about the suit in hopes of wearing him down so he would settle out of court. My husband wanted the case to go to court, but alas, both attorneys settled behind closed doors . The wife of the plaintiff wanted money for loss of sex from her husband!
