09/18 Etiquette

Quote From: kereynol

I too have the problem Joan has.  Smacking noises, loud or crunchy chewing, gum popping or smacking, loud MP3 players (just to name a few).  My family knows it bothers me and usually will stop before it irritates me too much.  I dont know if she has ADD, but I have panic disorder, and maybe she could have that.

I ALSO HAVE PROBLEMS WITH IRRITATING NOISES .SUCH AS NOISY REFRIGERATOES .CHEWING GUM .BASKTRBALLS .SMACKING YOURE MOUTH WITH FOOD IN IT .ETC ETC .IF SOMEBODY THINKS THIS IS ADULT ATTENTION DEFICITE DISORDER SHOW  ME PROOF OR PANIC DIDORDERS .I WOULD REALLY LIKE TO KNOW  WHY THESE THINGS BOTHER ME .

The sounds of people eating really bothers me, and I know it's not normal. I was very excited that Dr. Phil said he'd have resources available on this site...and the only thing I can find is the relaxation cds I can buy from Dr.Lawliss....is that the resource? Is that what he's setting her up with at home or is there something else on the page that I can look at and get help with this? The noises drive me nuts and that drives my family nuts!! So basically we're all going nuts. It's not workin' for me, Dr. Phil!
